Veterinary Surgeon – Newport
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Veterinary Surgeon to join a thriving independent small animal practice in Newport. Less than a year after opening, the practice has grown rapidly thanks to exceptional local support and is now looking to welcome a fourth Veterinary Surgeon to its friendly and ambitious team.
This role would suit a Veterinary Surgeon who enjoys delivering outstanding patient and client care while helping to shape the future of a growing independent practice. Whether an experienced clinician or a more recent graduate, the successful candidate will be supported to develop their interests and build a rewarding career in a collaborative environment.
The practice places a strong emphasis on longer consultations, allowing vets the time to fully investigate cases and build lasting relationships with clients. There is genuine flexibility to tailor the role around individual interests, whether that's consulting, surgery, internal medicine, imaging, diagnostics, or developing a specialist service.
The modern, purpose-built practice offers an excellent working environment with spacious consulting rooms, separate dog and cat waiting areas and wards, advanced diagnostic equipment, and an on-site CT scanner. The experienced and supportive team shares a genuine passion for providing exceptional veterinary care while maintaining a positive and enjoyable workplace culture.
