Are you looking for a permanent opportunity within an established, supportive practice led by an experienced Lead Vet and Nursing team? Our client, an award-winning, RCVS-accredited small animal practice, is located in the stunning cathedral city of Peterborough. They are committed to delivering exceptional care and offer advanced procedures including laparoscopic surgery, orthopaedics, and ophthalmology.
The practice boasts a talented and knowledgeable team, led by a Vet who holds a BSAVA Post Graduate Certificate in Small Animal Surgery, supported by a Head Veterinary Nurse, two Registered Veterinary Nurses, a Student Veterinary Nurse, a Veterinary Care Assistant, and two Client Care Advisors. This multi-vet practice operates to a very high clinical standard, offering services such as laparoscopic spays, a full dental suite complete with dental x-ray, high-quality ultrasound including doppler, and digital x-ray. The practice is equipped with an extensive range of surgical tools, including a TPLO kit, operating microscope, and comprehensive ophthalmology diagnostic equipment. Their dedicated vets have a strong focus on orthopaedic surgery and have a fully equipped orthopaedic theatre on-site.
Peterborough itself is a vibrant city in eastern England, renowned for its historic 12th- and 13th-century Cathedral with its striking Gothic façade. The city offers a strong sense of community and is ideal for family life, featuring a variety of parks, excellent schools, and a host of family-friendly activities.
This is a permanent, full-time role based on a four-day working week with participation in a 1 in 6 weekend rota. Free parking is available on-site. The successful candidate must be RCVS-registered and have experience delivering outstanding patient and client care. You should also be confident working collaboratively as part of a committed, close-knit team.
