Due to continued success and exciting growth, our client is looking for a veterinary surgeon to join their collaborative, fun and supportive team in Stockport, Greater Manchester. This is a vibrant and dedicated group of professionals who take great pride in the high standards of care they provide to clients, as well as the positive and cohesive way they work together. With a rapidly expanding client base and now handling over 1,000 consults per week, the practice offers a dynamic environment for any vet looking to thrive in a busy, rewarding setting.
Established in 2001, this thriving and well-respected VetGDP-accredited general practice has built a large and loyal client base. The clinic is fully equipped with two surgical theatres, a dedicated dental room, dental radiography, general radiography and ultrasound facilities. They are further supported by an experienced and nurturing nursing and animal care team. To ensure continuity of care and provide convenience for clients, the practice regularly hosts visiting peripatetic specialists who bring advanced expertise in orthopaedics, soft tissue surgery, imaging and endoscopy.
The practice is ideally situated just seven miles from Manchester city centre, in a location that beautifully blends historical charm with modern living. With excellent transport links, it’s easy to access everything the North West has to offer, making it a great place to live and work.
They are keen to hear from experienced veterinary surgeons—ideally with 3 or more years' post-qualification experience—who are ready to become a valued part of this busy and expanding small animal practice. The role is full time, with a 1 in 3 weekend rota that is expected to move to 1 in 4 in the future. Appointments are scheduled in 15-minute slots, with longer times allocated for second opinions or more complex cases, and there is no sole charge required.
