The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Veterinary Surgeon to join a well-established independent practice in Stockton-on-Tees.
Part of a respected group of three practices, including an RCVS-accredited hospital, this role offers the chance to work alongside a highly experienced team of eight vets in a supportive and collaborative environment. The practice sees a diverse caseload including small animals, rabbits, small furries, exotic mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians and invertebrates.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon looking to develop their clinical skills, pursue a certificate, or simply enjoy a rewarding role with genuine work-life balance. Clinical freedom, professional development and high standards of patient care are at the heart of the practice.
What We're Looking For
- MRCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon
- Confident with routine consultations and surgery
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Passionate about delivering excellent patient and client care
- Keen to continue learning and developing professionally

The Rota
- Full-time or part-time applications welcome
- Flexible 9-hour shifts between 8am and 7pm
- Around 50% sole charge at branch level
- Occasional Saturday mornings (8am–12pm)
- No out-of-hours commitments
