A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Advanced Practitioner to join a highly successful and well-regarded small animal hospital in South Yorkshire. Our client is an RCVS-accredited, 24-hour hospital supported by a newly appointed Practice Manager, Head RVN, and a dedicated clinical Nursing team. This purpose-built facility features state-of-the-art equipment, including digital x-ray, ultrasound, a full-body CT scanner, and an in-house laboratory, alongside 3 large consulting rooms, 2 theatres, a spacious prep area, and extensive learning and office spaces.
As an Advanced Practitioner, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the veterinary team, ensuring the highest standards of medical care for each patient. Your leadership abilities, clinical expertise, and commitment to animal welfare will be essential in fostering the practice's ongoing success and enhancing your own professional growth alongside your team.
The practice is located on the picturesque edge of the Pennines, offering beautiful countryside views and charming stone-built villages. The landscape here is ideal for exploration on foot or by bike, with accessible terrain and a rich variety of nature reserves like Blacker Wood, Cliffe Wood, Wither Wood, and Lower Hartley Bank Wood. Beyond natural beauty, the region offers excellent dining, shopping, and entertainment options, making it a place that balances professional fulfilment with an exceptional quality of life.
The ideal candidate for this role will be an RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon with a CertAVP in Surgery.
