I have a fantastic opportunity for an Emergency Veterinary Surgeon to join a brand-new Emergency Clinic based within a well-established small animal practice in East Lincolnshire. This is a rare chance to take on a diverse and rewarding caseload in a supportive, forward-thinking environment.
The Role:
- Night rota: 7 nights on, 21 nights off – offering the perfect work/life balance
- Hours: 6:30pm to 8:30am
- Weekend-only role also available – 1:4 rota (both Saturday and Sunday)
- Sole charge position – you'll need to be confident and decisive, particularly with surgical cases
- On quieter nights, you’ll have access to comfortable sleeping, studying and relaxation facilities
Support Team:
- Back-up from two experienced Clinical Directors (always on-call for medical work-ups or advice)
- Supported by a twilight RVN (5pm–midnight) and a night RVN
- Friendly, close-knit team who enjoy working hard but also having a laugh along the way
Accommodation & Location:
Accommodation is available on-site in a spacious two-bedroom house which is very rarely shared. The practice is located in a popular and picturesque market town known for its blend of countryside charm and modern amenities. With good schools, a welcoming community, and beautiful historic surroundings, it’s a great place to call home.
What We’re Looking For:
Someone experienced, surgically confident, and comfortable in sole charge. Just as importantly, we’re after a vet who brings a good sense of humour, stays calm under pressure, and enjoys being part of a supportive, down-to-earth team that pulls together when it matters most. Previous ECC or sole charge experience is a must.
