A new chapter awaits in beautiful Suffolk! This thriving, independent ambulatory equine practice is looking for a passionate and dedicated Equine Veterinary Surgeon to join their growing team. With fully mobile equipment and a supportive, close knit culture, the team prides itself on delivering a truly bespoke, collaborative service that puts both horse and owner at the heart of every decision.
The successful candidate will be joining a progressive and friendly practice that works closely with a trusted network of osteopaths, physiotherapists, farriers, and trainers. Together, they create tailored treatment and rehabilitation plans that make a real difference to outcomes. The practice is known for its warm, client focused approach - kindness, empathy, and dedication define every patient journey. All experience levels are welcome, including new graduates!
The caseload offers variety and depth, with a particular focus on lameness, poor performance, and rehabilitation. However, for those with different passions, the practice is more than happy to nurture your individual interests and support your career in any direction you choose. With a strong emphasis on development and progression, the sky really is the limit here!
The full-time rota is 40 hours over 4 days a week, although part-time applicants are more than welcome to reach out too! You will have an equal share of the out of hours rota with time off in lieu offered for weekends worked. They use Equicomms to triage their OOHs calls, filter out any non-emergencies and save you time, so there'll be no extra phone to carry around and remote support will be available too!
You'll be equipped with top-of-the-range mobile kit, enjoy a comfortable vehicle fitted with purpose built drawers, and work in one of the most picturesque parts of the country. Suffolk offers a perfect blend of tranquil countryside, charming villages, and easy access to the coast, making it a wonderful place to live and work.

The Rota
- Full time position (open to part time applicants)
