A brand-new, independent, purpose-built practice dedicated to rabbits, felines, and exotic species, is looking for a full-time Veterinary Surgeon to join their passionate team. Located just east of Cardiff City Centre, the clinic is designed to minimise stress for patients with separate predator and prey wards and has a strong commitment to environmental sustainability.
You'll enjoy a mix of consultations and surgeries, with clinical autonomy and strong support. Feline consultations are 15 minutes, while exotic consults range from 30 minutes for first opinions to 60 minutes for referrals. The practice is a popular EMS placement, offering the opportunity to mentor veterinary students.
The clinic boasts excellent facilities, including two operating theatres, an imaging suite, digital X-ray, dental X-ray, ultrasound, and more. The team is dedicated to continuous learning and improving animal welfare, holding RWAF Gold Rabbit and ISFM Gold Cat status.
You'll be an experienced vet with expertise in feline, rabbit, and exotic medicine, confident in managing an exotic caseload. Excellent communication skills and a passion for veterinary care and education are key, with full support for new graduates. MRCVS registered and eligible to work in the UK.
