Fixed-Term Veterinary Surgeon - Worcestershire

  • Exciting role on offer at a fantastic Tier 2 RCVS accredited surgery on the edge of the beautiful Cotswolds!
  • Benefit from flexibility within your role, choose between a surgical caseload or a consult-only focus, tailored to your preferences
  • Ample opportunities for progression and development in a supportive and collaborative team environment
  • Excellent benefits package including competitive salary, family policies, employee wellbeing initiatives, generous holiday allowance and much more!

An exciting opportunity awaits at a Tier 2 RCVS accredited veterinary surgery in Pershore, where they offer a flexible role tailored to your professional interests. Whether you're passionate about surgery or prefer consults, they can accommodate your preferences and help shape your career!

For those who enjoy the challenge of surgery, they offer one dedicated day per week for surgical caseloads, allowing you the freedom to fully work up your cases. If consults are more your area of expertise, they can provide a consult-only role. No matter your focus, they believe in providing the tools, time, and clinical freedom for you to excel in your chosen field.

At the heart of the practice is professional and personal development. They foster a culture of shared learning, and their supportive team is committed to building your confidence, expanding your skill set, and ensuring that there are no limits to your career progression. They have invested in a wide range of advanced diagnostic facilities, including digital radiography, ultrasonography, and endoscopy. The onsite laboratory allows for same-day blood sample analysis, ensuring a high standard of care and swift diagnoses.

You'll be joining a highly dedicated and talented team, which includes an RCVS-recognised Advanced Practitioner in general small animal surgery, certificate holders in small animal medicine and endoscopy, a Vet with a PhD in nematodes, and a Vet with expertise in acupuncture and animal behaviour. The Head Nurse holds a CertVN ECC alongside certifications in analgesia and anaesthesia, adding another layer of expertise to the team.

No matter where you are in your veterinary journey, the practice provides a nurturing and resourceful environment, ensuring that you have all the support and development you need to grow and thrive. If you're looking for a role that combines clinical excellence with career flexibility, we would love to hear from you!
