Are you an experienced Veterinary Surgeon seeking to further your career? We have a fantastic opportunity for you! Our client, a RCVS accredited small animal practice situated in Rochester, Kent, is in search of a Head Vet.
As the Head Vet, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the growth and development of the practice. You will collaborate with the Practice Director, Head Nurse, and Regional Director to determine the practice's priorities and ensure their consistent implementation. Additionally, you will lead and support the veterinary team through check-ins, competency reviews, salary evaluations, and roster management in tandem with the Practice Director.
Our client values strong leadership to inspire and guide the team, which boasts a combined experience of over 100 years. Depending on your interests, your role may include a mix of consultations and surgical cases, with the current caseload split 50/50.
Established in 1988, the practice offers a range of services supported by state-of-the-art equipment, such as an in-house laboratory, ultrasound, x-ray, endoscope, and a fully equipped operating theatre. Their dedication to feline care has earned them Silver status from the ISFM Cat Friendly Clinic.
