An exciting opening has emerged for a Lead Veterinary Surgeon to join a dedicated team at a RCVS accredited practice located in a bustling market town in Nottingham. The practice is seeking a skilled individual who is passionate about animal care and eager to make a significant impact in the field.
The practice currently consists of a four vet team, one of whom possesses a certificate in surgery. Alongside this talented group, the lead vet will be supported by a head nurse, 4 RVNs, 5 SVN's, and 3 PCA's. The collaborative nature of the team ensures that every member's contribution is valued.
With fully equipped facilities, the practice offers an array of essential tools, including a separate operating theatre, digital x-ray capabilities, ultrasound equipment, and endoscopy resources. Additionally, the practice has access to an orthopaedic referral clinic that features an MRI and CT scanner. This commitment to providing cutting-edge equipment guarantees that the highest standard of care is delivered to every patient.
As the lead vet, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional care. From routine health check-ups to complex surgical procedures, you will work directly with clients and patients, tailoring your approach to meet the unique needs of each case.

To be eligible for consideration, applicants must hold a valid MRCVS qualification and be registered with the RCVS. Our client can also support Certificates of Sponsorship for a Tier 2 (General) Visa if you meet the criteria and are eligible to register as a veterinary surgeon with the RCVS upon arrival in the UK.

The Rota:
• Full time - 39 hours per week
• 4 day week
• 1:3 half or 1:6 full weekends
