Brand new opportunity to join a new state of the art, purpose-built practice in the Leicestershire area who have a large client base throughout the whole of North West Leicestershire, South Derbyshire and beyond are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join their experienced 9 Vet and 16 nurse team.

The practice boasts Gold Standard cat friendly accreditation.
The ideal candidate for the role will be confident with all aspects of primary care practice and be keen to develop your career. You will also be responsible for leading a team of 6 Vets alongside the Clinical Director. We are looking at roughly an 80/20 split between clinical to non-clinical work within the practice, but there is scope for flexibility to suit the right person. There is a fantastic surgical caseload and they can accommodate a Veterinary Surgeon with an interest in Surgery, cardiology or dermatology. The team has a surgery certificate holder and 2 other vets working towards certificates in surgery and ophthalmology. They welcome all professional interests and are keen to support certificates.
The facilities include Digital and Dental X-Ray, Ultrasound & ECG, Idexx in-house analysers, including new Sedivue Urine Analyser, fully equipped modern operating theatres, stainless steel and cat-friendly kennels, Diathermy & ECG and a new, customised ambulance. The practice is fully computerised.
You will be working in Ashby-de-la-Zouch, which is a picturesque market town surrounded by lots of countryside and in a fantastic location with lots of local cities within easy reach. East Midlands Airport is also just a 15 minutes' drive away.

- 1 in 6 Saturdays, 8:30am - 4:30pm
- No OOH, although there may be inpatient checks required
