Locum Veterinary Surgeon – Pontyclun
An award winning independent practice in the heart of Pontyclun is looking for a Locum Veterinary Surgeon to join their outstanding team for select dates this summer. This family run small animal practice is well known for its friendly, professional atmosphere, and for providing excellent clinical care with a compassionate, client focused approach.
With no sole charge and a mix of consults and operations, this role is perfect for a confident vet who enjoys variety without the pressure of working alone. The team is experienced, supportive, and welcoming—making it an enjoyable place to step into and hit the ground running. You'll be working alongside dedicated veterinary professionals in a modern, well-equipped setting, helping a loyal client base who truly value their pets' care.
The practice needs cover on the following dates:
- Fri 30/5
- Mon 2/6
- Mon 23/6
- Mon 18/8
- Working hours between 08:30–18:30 and no out-of-hours required—giving you a fantastic work-life balance.
Located in the charming town of Pontyclun, you’ll benefit from a mix of tranquil countryside, vibrant local cafes, and excellent transport links to Cardiff and the South Wales coast—ideal for a post-shift wind down or weekend getaway.
