Are you a passionate and dedicated Veterinary Surgeon seeking a unique opportunity? Look no further! Our client is looking to expand their team and is currently searching for a Part-Time Vet to join them in revolutionising veterinary care in the North East!
Based at their brand-new office in North Shields, they proudly serve a wide area, covering the majority of the North East. But that's not all! They also have an incredible branch in Teesside that complements their services seamlessly.
The team is comprised of highly skilled professionals who work together harmoniously to provide an unparalleled experience for clients and their beloved pets. Currently, they boast 3 exceptional veterinary surgeons, 3 compassionate vet nurses, a veterinary care assistant, an office manager (who is also a vet nurse), and a talented managing director (also a vet nurse!).
As a purely mobile veterinary service, they have transformed 3 veterinary vans into fully equipped mobile units, complete with a consultation room, theatre, X-ray facilities, dental machines, dental X-ray equipment, and so much more! This state-of-the-art setup enables them to deliver top-notch care directly to patients' doorsteps.
Our client prioritises the well-being of their furry friends, ensuring their visits are stress-free and comfortable. Unlike traditional practices, they don't rush appointments; there are no time constraints here. To assist you in focusing on providing exceptional veterinary care, you will have the support of an amazing nurse who will also handle the driving duties while you document your clinical notes.
Our client's pets, just like their owners, deserve to feel safe and secure during their veterinary visits. By offering a mobile, home-visit service, they create an environment where pets can relax in the familiarity of their own homes. In response to increasing demand, they are now proud to offer surgical visits performed in their purpose-built mobile unit.

The Rota:
• Part time role - Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays (Flexible with availability)
• No Evenings, Weekends or Bank Holidays
• Closed on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve (paid on top of your annual holidays)
The Benefits:
• Competitive salary up to £60,000 (FTE)
• 6 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays paid on top if your contracted day falls on it
•£500 CPD allowance plus congress paid for to attend
• Paid overtime
