An exceptional opportunity has emerged for a Senior Veterinary Surgeon to become an integral part of a privately owned, independent, mixed animal practice situated in Leicestershire. The client is currently in search of a motivated small animal veterinary surgeon to oversee both the day-to-day clinical case load and business operations at the practice.

Nestled in a charming market town in Leicestershire, this location is highly sought after for its appeal as a residential and professional hub. In its pursuit of hospital status from the RCVS, you will play an active role in supporting this transition, contributing to further growth and the expansion of services. A special interest in surgery would be advantageous, and the practice are keen to support anyone looking to undertake a surgical certificate.

As a key member of a highly skilled veterinary team, including certificate holders across various specialties and an advanced practitioner in small animal medicine, you will receive support from an outstanding group of nursing and support staff. Your responsibilities will encompass providing guidance and leadership to colleagues, as well as mentorship to graduates, all while striving to deliver exceptional, tailored, and cost-effective care in alignment with progressive best practices in veterinary medicine.

If you possess outstanding communication skills, uphold a high standard of work, value clinical discretion, and aspire to contribute to a forward-thinking, independent practice alongside a supportive team, we eagerly await your application.
