Our client is seeking a confident GP Vet to join their Tier 3 RCVS-accredited hospital in the historic cathedral city of Leicester. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working across all areas of general practice, with a balanced mix of consulting and operating as part of the dedicated day team.
With a proud history spanning over 100 years, our client has grown into a highly successful, fully RCVS-accredited, multi-site practice offering both primary care and mid-tier referrals. Their network includes four self-sufficient and well-equipped practices, including the Tier 3 hospital, all of which operate independently while fostering a strong sense of teamwork and shared expertise.
The practice is home to a talented team with certificate holders in ophthalmology, orthopaedics, soft tissue surgery, and emergency critical care. With 24-hour dedicated veterinary and nursing teams in place, they prioritise a great work-life balance for all staff. The practices are fully equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including in-house CT, dental suites with dental X-ray, video endoscopy, ASIF kit, TPLO/TTA/Tightrope, arthroscopy, and advanced ophthalmology equipment. They take pride in being Cat-Friendly across all sites and hold a Gold award for their Tier 3 hospital.
This is a permanent, part-time position offering 30 hours across 3-4 days, with flexible working patterns available. The role includes a 1:4 Saturday rota (8:30 am-2:00 pm) and a 1:15 Sunday rota (8:00 am-7:00 pm, paid extra). There are no night shifts, thanks to a dedicated night team.
