Our client is an independent cat-only practice located in the vibrant city of Brighton. The practice was founded in 2002 and has since grown into a thriving first-opinion practice with a 98% feline caseload and a small number of rabbits. They are proud to have built strong relationships with local animal charities and to be the recipient of the FAB practice award and the ISFM Silver Cat Friendly Practice' status.
They are now seeking a full-time vet to join their exceptional team of veterinary surgeons and nurses. The team includes an excellent surgeon who is particularly gifted at dealing with nervous patients and a fabulous nursing team of 4 RVNs, 1 SVN, and 1 ACA. Their Head Nurse has many years of experience and is super-patient, efficient, and guaranteed to go the extra mile in caring for her patients.
As part of the team you will have access to modern, fully air-conditioned facilities that are equipped for first opinion medical, surgical, and diagnostic procedures. They have digital and dental x-ray, ultrasound, and endoscopy equipment, and are currently trialling a range of new ultrasound machines.
Outside of work, they are a really sociable team who like to do things a little differently. They have tried clay pigeon shooting, solved a murder mystery for their Christmas do, taken Yoga classes, and gone bowling. Next on the agenda…Bhangra dancing and tackling an inflatable obstacle course!
Brighton is a fantastic city to live in, with plenty of free parking and great public transport links. Whether you love the nightlife or prefer to relax on the beach, there's always something to do here. With art, live music, and entertainment on tap, plus an abundance of award-winning restaurants and independent shops, you'll be spoilt for choice. It's also just one-hour to London and 30 minutes to Gatwick Airport by train.
The Rota:
• Full time role - Part time applications considered
• 4 day week - x2 8am-4pm shifts and x2 8.30am-7pm shifts
• 1:3 Saturday mornings
• No OOH or bank holidays
The Benefits:
• Fantastic salary of £45,000 - £83,000 DOE
