An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Surgeon to join a modern, purpose built small animal practice in beautiful County Carlow. This vibrant, close knit team includes one experienced veterinary surgeon, two skilled veterinary nurses, and a welcoming receptionist—all committed to delivering exceptional care. The clinic is equipped with fantastic facilities, including Idexx blood machines, digital x-ray, and ultrasound, enabling high-quality diagnostics and efficient case management.
The role offers a varied and engaging caseload that includes first-opinion consultations, diagnostic workups, soft tissue surgery (routine and emergency), and continuous client communication. You’ll also enjoy the autonomy of sole charge when needed while having the unwavering support of your collaborative team.
The ideal candidate will be VCI registered with at least two years of general practice experience, confidence in soft tissue surgery, and a drive to provide compassionate, high quality veterinary care. Excellent communication skills and a positive, team oriented attitude are a must.
