Description
Veterinary Surgeon - West London
• This opportunity is ideal for a veterinary surgeon seeking to transition seamlessly between branch and hospital settings.
• Salary up to £57,000 per annum DOE plus fantastic benefits
• 4-day week
• Excellent transport links, with multiple bus routes and stations serving the London Underground's Central Line, easy access to the M4 and M40.
Purovets have a perfect role for a veterinary surgeon looking to work between both branch and hospital environments which are situated in neighbouring towns.
You will split your time between one of our client's practices and their hospital, with neutering days on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the practice and a day off every Wednesday. At the practice, you will work independently alongside a skilled support team. On Mondays and Fridays, you will conduct procedures at the hospital, benefiting from extensive support and state-of-the-art facilities.
The Hospital provides out of hours support for its surrounding branches in West London. It has state of the art 24-hr facilities including CT, an excellent ultrasound, scopes, laparoscopic equipment, and an array of specialists and provides a great environment to develop your ECC skills.
You will also be fully supported by a dedicated regional manager, and highly experience regional head vet for any clinical support you may need.
This role would be ideal for a vet who has completed their VetGDP, is confident with sole charge and looking for more independent routine surgery time, but then has the opportunity for more complex cases with the support of the hospital on your surgery days.
The area offers a blend of suburban charm and urban convenience in West London. Both towns benefit from excellent transport links, including rail and bus services, connecting residents to central London and beyond. With a range of housing options, recreational facilities, and shopping centres, the towns remain popular choices for individuals and families seeking a vibrant yet peaceful environment to call home in the capital.
