Purovets are looking for a small animal veterinary surgeon to join a thriving privately owned independent practice which has big plans for the future. This is an exciting time to join the practice and join their amazing team.
The role would suit a small animal veterinary surgeon looking to develop their career however the role is equally suited to a new or recent graduate. We are ideally looking for a full-time vet however our client is able to support part time hours.
They have a close-knit, fun, forward thinking and experienced team of vets, nurses and reception staff who provide a friendly, supportive environment. The clinical team consists of 8 vets and certificate holders (5 small animal, 2 equine and 1 mix of both), 6 RVN's and 6 student nurses who provide a wealth of support. My client has a great track record of developing many ¬vets from graduation into confident, skilled veterinary surgeons.
The practice is predominantly a small animal practice which provides their own 24-hour care they are very fortunate to have a wide range of State-of-the-Art equipment including digital xray/dental xray, endoscopes, ultrasound, Idexx blood & urine machines.
The practice is situated in a town in Hampshire which has excellent transport links with London just over an hour away. There is plenty to do with The New Forest on the South Downs close by which has beautiful countryside walks. This is a great base for walking, cycling and just enjoying the great outdoors also within easy reach of Southampton and Winchester so you can enjoy the best of both worlds. There is always something to do for everyone.
We are looking for a vet who enjoys a lively, fast-paced but good-humoured environment where no two days will be the same. If you're looking to develop your skills, then this is the practice for you.
The Rota:
• Fulltime or part-time position
• 4-day week
• 1:4 weekend and OOH rota with generous time off in lieu
• 9am - 5pm, 9am - 7pm, 11am - 7pm
• Rota which gives an excellent homelife balance
