We are excited to announce an exceptional opportunity at Purovets for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join a thriving group of small animal practices located in the beautiful coastal city of Inverness.

Our client, established in the mid-1970s, has a long-standing reputation for providing expert animal care. The practice has expanded into a three-practice group and is now seeking a skilled and dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join their team. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional first opinion care to a variety of animals, including dogs, cats, small mammals, birds, and exotic pets.

The team regularly engages in staff events, activities, and community fundraising, fostering strong relationships and camaraderie. The team comprises 12 Veterinary Surgeons, 12 Registered Veterinary Nurses (including 2 Student Nurses), Veterinary Care Assistants, a Pharmacy Dispenser, and a competent front desk and office support staff.
With a large and diverse team, you will always have someone nearby to offer support, discuss cases, and learn from. Our client values good clinical discussions, holding twice daily ward rounds and regular vet meetings. The friendly team environment promotes a collaborative and supportive approach, with each member bringing different interests and enthusiasms.
The practice itself is modern and well-equipped, featuring state-of-the-art equipment such as a Dental Suite, an In-house laboratory, Ultrasound, Endoscope, Digital X-ray, and separate cat and dog wards and waiting rooms.

The Rota:
• Full time role - 5 day week
• Saturday rota (between 8am and 4pm)
• Monday to Thursday between the hours of 8am and 8pm and Fridays 8am - 6pm
• No OOH
