I am currently recruiting for a lovely, family run independent, first opinion, small animal and exotics practice located in a classic seaside town with sandy beaches and the finest coastal scenery in Britain.
They are looking for a real team player who likes a bit of fun, isn't too serious and who is family orientated to join their close-knit team of vets, RVNs and receptionists due to expansion. This practice pride themselves on treating their colleagues and clients like a member of their family. Seasoned vets as well as new graduates are encouraged to apply!
Their head vet has two certificates, one in exotics and the other in veterinary anaesthesiology with a keen interest in nutritional bone disease. They also have a new grad about to start a certificate in small animal surgery with bias of imaging. There is plenty of support available for you to progress into whatever avenue you wish with certificates strongly encouraged.
The practice has great facilities including a brand-new ultrasound, digital x ray, endoscopy, and laparoscopic facilities.
Rota:
• 4-4.5 days a week
• No OOH
• 6 Saturdays a year
• Rare amount of sole charge
The package:
• Salary up to £65,000 DOE
• Pay reviews every 6 months (every 3 months for new grads)
• Uncapped CPD allowance over 5 days (graduate academy available for new grads)
• Certificates funded and strongly encouraged
• 21 days holiday plus bank holidays
