Description
Veterinary Surgeon - Shropshire
- Excellent opportunity for a veterinary surgeon to work with a charity veterinary care provider with an excellent reputation across the UK
- Salary up to £69,000 DOE
- Private healthcare
- Full-time role, 40 hours a week
Purovets are working with a charity veterinary care provider with an excellent reputation across the UK. They are currently looking to recruit for their surgery located in a large market town in Shropshire. They were established based on the principle that no animal should suffer due to their owner's financial hardship, which is why there are no consultation fees charged at any of their practices. There are no eligibility criteria, and owners will only pay for any treatment at realistic and transparent prices.
As a rapidly growing not-for-profit company, the exciting caseload varies dramatically from one case to the next. This 24/7 surgery is a modern, award-winning building in the centre of a beautiful town with amazing views. You will be joining a friendly 10 Vet highly professional team some of which are certificate holders in medicine and surgery. The surgery is a well-equipped facility that is geared to providing comprehensive care to patients, and they have access to an in-house CT scanner, advanced orthopaedics and hip replacement specialists.
If you believe in their social mission you will be a great fit with their friendly, determined team. You will be treating animals that would otherwise not receive the care they deserve. They see more sick animals than other vet groups, so your caseload will be varied and interesting, with the opportunity to advance your emergency and critical care skills. Whether you are a senior vet or just starting out, whether you are looking for GP or ECC work, they would like to hear from you.
You will be working in Telford, a town in Shropshire that is known for its modern infrastructure and historical significance. Established in the 1960s as a new town, Telford boasts a blend of contemporary architecture, green spaces, and cultural attractions, making it a vibrant destination for residents and visitors alike. The town benefits from well-maintained road networks, frequent bus services, and a railway station offering connections to major cities. These links facilitate easy commuting and enhance accessibility, supporting the town's growth and connectivity within the region.
