Purovets is excited to present an exceptional opportunity for an experienced veterinary surgeon to join a proudly independent small animal practice in the historic cathedral city of Peterborough, Cambridgeshire. With over 30 years of outstanding animal care and a deep commitment to providing an excellent supportive environment to their clinical team, this practice has earned its reputation for excellence and is now seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join their team.
You'll join a close-knit team consisting of three vets, four nurses and excellent support staff in a busy little practice, offering a value-for-money service without compromising clinical standards or their strong team ethos. They are deeply embedded in the local community, allowing you to get to know your clients and build up an excellent relationship with them. They are a 'not-for-profit' veterinary surgery, and their income primarily supports a local animal charity. The practice is an RCVS Veterinary Nurse Training Practice and a member of the Vetsure Graduate Friendly Scheme, and the Clinical Director has over 20 years of experience teaching veterinary students. Therefore, you can be assured that your lesser experienced colleagues will have the necessary guidance to support their development and quickly become valuable assets to the practice.
The clinic is fantastically equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including a digital X-ray, Clarius ultrasound, Idexx in-house laboratory, diathermy, blood pressure monitors, anaesthetic monitoring equipment, dental equipment and much more. They do not have any OOH requirements as they use Vets Now for emergencies, so you will only work 1 in 2 Saturday mornings from 8:30am 12:30am on top of your four-day week from 8:30am to 7:00pm. Flexibility within the rota can be accommodated to suit individual needs.

Role:
- Salary up to £65,000 DOE
