An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Veterinary Surgeon with a strong surgical focus to join a friendly and well-established practice in Staffordshire. This is the perfect role for a vet looking to take their surgical skills to the next level, with the chance to work in a supportive environment that actively encourages clinical development and progression. An interest in orthopaedics would be particularly welcomed, offering the opportunity to complement the existing clinical strengths within the team.
Working alongside the experienced Branch Partner, who brings a strong medical focus, this role offers an excellent balance, allowing you to take the lead on surgical cases while benefiting from collaboration and shared expertise. You’ll become part of a close knit and dedicated team, including an experienced Head Veterinary Nurse, RVN, VCA, and client care team, all committed to delivering a high standard of personalised care to a loyal client base.
The practice is well-equipped to support your clinical ambitions, with facilities including digital radiography, ultrasound, a fully equipped in-house laboratory, and a dedicated preparation and surgical theatre. You’ll play a key role in managing surgical cases from start to finish, delivering high quality care in both consults and procedures, creating tailored treatment plans, and working closely with clients to achieve the best outcomes for their pets. Collaboration is at the heart of the practice, with a strong emphasis on sharing knowledge and supporting one another.
This role offers a great blend of autonomy and teamwork, including one day of sole charge per week, making it ideal for a confident Veterinary Surgeon who enjoys clinical responsibility while still having the backing of an experienced team. With access to wider clinical communities, ongoing mentorship, and full support for further qualifications, including funded certificates, this is a fantastic opportunity to grow your career in a progressive and supportive setting.Top of Form
