Veterinary Surgeon – Surrey
• Independent small animal practice in the heart of Surrey with excellent onsite facilities including a recently upgraded ultrasound, DR X-ray, multi-parameter monitoring, a syringe driver, Tonopen, Phovia, and more
• Working alongside an experienced team with a wealth of specialist knowledge, from internal medicine and advanced surgery to behavioural medicine, ultrasound expertise, and emergency out-of-hours experience

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and skilled Veterinary Surgeon to join an independent small animal practice in a desirable village in Surrey. This practice is built on the belief that by genuinely supporting, valuing, and caring for their team, they create an environment where everyone can thrive—empowering them to provide exceptional, heartfelt care to the pet families in their community.
You’ll be joining a highly motivated team where collaboration, insight, and shared expertise shape a dynamic and evolving approach to veterinary care. Among the five experienced vets, you'll find a wealth of specialist knowledge, from internal medicine and advanced surgery to behavioural medicine, ultrasound expertise, and emergency out-of-hours experience. Whether you have a specialism or are keen to develop one, you'll be surrounded by colleagues who support growth and continuous learning.
Beyond the vet team, you'll be supported by an exceptional Head Nurse with referral-level experience and a team of five RVNs, each with unique areas of expertise in diabetes, behaviour, and weight management. The practice is also home to three outstanding ANAs, who keep everything running seamlessly behind the scenes, a reception team that ensures every client and pet has a smooth, stress-free experience, and a Practice Manager who prioritises employee well-being and growth—believing that when the team flourishes, so does patient care.
The practice itself is modern and well-equipped, featuring a recently upgraded ultrasound, DR X-ray, multi-parameter monitoring, a syringe driver, Tonopen, Phovia, and more. They are looking for a vet who can provide thoughtful, solution-driven feedback to both colleagues and management, communicate with empathy, and build meaningful relationships with pets and their owners to deliver truly individualised care.
The rota is full time covering a 4 day week with 2 operating days and a 1:4 Saturday rota (9am - 12pm). There are no Sundays, Bank Holidays or out of hours work with this role and they have 20 minute consults.
