Veterinary Surgeon with Surgical Bias Starting June (Maternity Cover)
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinary Surgeon to join our independent practice starting in June, covering for our vet going on maternity leave.
Role Highlights:
-4-day week with 2 operating days
-1 in 4 Saturday mornings (9 am 12 pm)
-No Sunday, Bank Holiday, or out-of-hours work
-20-minute consults
-Starting salary of £50,000
-Generous CPD allowance
-Independent practice with upgraded equipment, including ultrasound, DR X-ray, multi-parameter monitoring, syringe driver, tonopen, and Phovia light therapy
-Structured breaks and daily team catch-ups

-Strong surgical skills and a passion for empowering colleagues
-Ability to build relationships with clients and provide holistic, tailored care
-Empathy and effective communication with clients and team members
-Continuous growth mindset and willingness to contribute to team feedback
-Confidence in pricing your skills and discussing financial matters openly
