A fantastic opportunity awaits a Veterinary Surgeon to join a well-established, independent, and family-run practice located in the charming riverside town of Walton on Thames. For nearly 40 years, our client has been delivering outstanding veterinary care, earning a stellar reputation and a loyal client base in the local community. They are now seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join their friendly, dedicated team, which currently consists of 2 experienced Veterinary Surgeons. The practice is an accredited nurse training facility, supported by a talented team of 3 RVNs and 2 SVNs who play an integral role in delivering exceptional patient care.
The practice also benefits from the expertise of visiting specialists, including an orthopaedic surgeon who manages complex procedures like TPLOs in-house and an Advanced Practitioner in Cardiology for challenging cardiac cases.
The Practice
This independent, modern practice is fully equipped with the latest facilities, including digital x-ray, ultrasound, in-house laboratory, and complete surgical capabilities. The team is committed to delivering the highest standard of care while fostering a collaborative and supportive working environment.
The Role
Our client is looking for a reliable, responsible, and proactive Veterinary Surgeon who is a strong team player. The practice encourages ongoing learning and development, offering full support for those wishing to further their skills and pursue professional interests or certificates.
The Rota
• 4 days per week
• Saturdays on a rota basis, 8:30am – 5:00pm
• Flexible shift pattern, including the option for a 3-day work week
• 15-minute consults
