An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join a thriving independent small animal practice in the West Midlands. This position offers the chance to establish yourself as the sole Veterinary Surgeon within the practice.
Located in the heart of Staffordshire, our client is situated in a charming town rich in history and culture, offering a delightful blend of heritage and modern living. This well-established practice has been serving the local community for over 30 years, providing expert care to a loyal client base, many of whom have been with them since the beginning.
With the current owner and Lead Vet planning to retire, we are looking for a talented and experienced Veterinary Surgeon to take over this role. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' experience in small animal practice and must be comfortable handling sole charge responsibilities, as you will be the only Veterinary Surgeon onsite.
The practice is well-equipped with advanced technology, including an in-house laboratory, ultrasound, digital X-ray, and more. You will also be supported by a dedicated and experienced nursing team, including a Registered Veterinary Nurse who has been a part of the practice for over 30 years.
This is a unique opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to step into a leadership role within an independent practice and make it their own. Confidence in performing all routine procedures is essential.
